It’s another happy Monday everyone! Last week we posted Amour’s brooch from her wedding bouquet.

Being that tomorrow in Australia is the Melbourne Cup we thought we would go with the theme – so a restyled fascinator it is 🙂

Not the best picture – but Amour’s sister-in-law will be wearing it tomorrow for her day at the races – so better pictures to follow tomorrow 🙂 You may also notice that the brooch looks a little different – that’s because at the last-minute Amour couldn’t part with her brooch – but a substitute was found.

This week we have a new item for you to give us some inspiration. A bunch of bangles from the markets. *walk like an Egyptian* Come on – you all had a Bangle song go through your head 😉

Earlier this month we joined Trish at Love, Laughter and a Touch of Insanity in her Pin It and Do It October 2012 Pinterest Challenge. I discovered this via Kelly at Cobwebs, Cupcakes & Crayons.

Soooo ummmmm we were just working on the summary post of all of our pin it and do it challenges for tomorrow – and we realised that we are missing #4! Poor number 4! *blush*

That’s ok – we had a restyle that we were going to post later on in the week – so instead here it is 🙂

Here is the pin that inspired us on Pinterest. We did a slightly different spin on it – we painted with old nailpolish instead.

It’s another Monday so time for a new inspiration. Last week we had posted a pair of very plain black wedges.

For Pinteresting challenge #6 – Shoe Restyle – we were inspired by this pin and the Halloween season. Here’s our end result – it’s so ugly, it’s pretty!

We ran out of googly eyes and the batch ordered on ebay have not arrived yet but we couldn’t resist showing you how it has progressed so far.

Hi everyone!

So here is our first Pinteresting challenge for this Pin It and Do It Challenge.

Here is the pin that inspired us on Pinterest. Instead of using a t-shirt – we decided to restyle some baby bibs we had on hand. So silly – we forgot to take a ‘before’ picture of the bibs!

And here is our finished product…

After we made these the crew at Oh So Pretty the Diaries posted a DIY on their blog. We just love the horse silhouette – so graceful! Check out their DIY tutorial – the DIY: SPRAY BLEACH SHIRT – it turned out better than ours! While we were writing this we realised that the inspiration pin came via Oh So Pretty the Diaries.

We were reading up on some blogs and came across this challenge via Kelly at Cobwebs, Cupcakes & Crayons. So we headed over to join Trish at Love, Laughter and a Touch of Insanity in her Pin It and Do It October 2012 Pinterest Challenge.

Hi everyone!

So what is upcycling? Basically it’s taking an unwanted item and making it better – the folks at upcyclemagazine.com say it best. We call it Restyling!

Since our last post, I’m yet to go through our big bag of goodies from Flemington Market so thought I would upload some things we have made from our last trip to Flemington Markets.

I found a beautiful large cushion cover – unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of the original item 😦 At first I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it – I was thinking of making a little dress out of it for my 7 month old niece and then I decided to use a little piece of it to make some flowers for the restyled disco shoes I was making.

Since then I decided to make shoe clips and hair clips from the left over material.

I then restyled some of the decorations from my other niece’s recent 4th birthday and made some shoe clips and hair clips.
