Hi everyone!
So here is our 10th Pinteresting challenge for this Pin It and Do It Challenge. We are officially Pin Obsessed status! Now before we start – this is not a restyle project – but what girl can resist a tutu???
Here is the pin that inspired us on Pinterest.
This is how we put it together…
And now the end results – we have two of the cutest little girls modelling them for us – Nina and Brooke-Lee.
Aren’t they just too cute for words? Say it with me – ADORABLE!!!
We couldn’t just stop there so we also made them matching hair pins…
Please tell us what you think – we are planning to add this product to our Etsy store when we get it sorted. So stay tuned 🙂
Thanks again to Nina and Brooke-Lee and their beautiful mummies Donna and Marie!
Take care, until next time…keep restyling!

Happy Monday! Last week we had posted a vintage turquoise jumper/sweater.
This is how we restyled it.
This also covers our # 8 and #9 for the Pinteresting challenge – Pin It and Do It Challenge.
For Pinteresting challenge #8 – neck cushion restyle – we were inspired by this pin and here’s our end result – so cozy!
For Pinteresting challenge #9 – sweater bracelet restyle – we were inspired by this pin and here’s our end result – it’s just too cute! We did a few but only pictured one of them.
Now it’s time for a new inspiration. This week it’s the pin from Amour’s wedding bouquet.. You just gotta love the bling and we want to see it used again in a new way.
What do you think we should restyle it into? Where do we start? Inspire us…
Take care, until next time…keep restyling!

Happy Monday – it’s time for a new inspiration. Last week we had posted a satin like polka dot dress.
We ended up making a few items for our Etsy store – Headbands and hair clips galore – and an embellished singlet/tank top thrown in. Our Etsy store is nearly ready so watch this space 🙂
What do you think of our restyle project?
This week we have a new item for you to give us some inspiration. A vintage turquoise jumper/sweater.

First of all sorry for any confusion caused – we accidentally deleted the original post – argh! So here we are re posting 🙂
This is our Pinteresting challenge #7 for the Pin It and Do It Challenge. The pin that inspired us on Pinterest is Mermaid Slipper Nails by Katy at Nailed It. Check out the tutorial its heaps easy.
So here’s how we started…a metallic green base with pink glitter polish.
We decided to put the glitter part at the tip of the nail. In the tutorial the glitter part is at the bed of the nail. And here’s the end result…What do you think?

This is our Pinteresting challenge #5 for the Pin It and Do It Challenge.
The pin that inspired us on Pinterest is Polka Dot Nails.
So we gave it a go…we used a BBQ skewer to make the dots…Shout out to Michelle for doing Amour’s nails!
And here is our finished version…
We loved it so much we did it a little more in different colour variations – which one is your favourite? We also found an easier way to do the dots via this pin – DIY Nail Art Tools.
We are getting just a little obsessed with the different nail art tutorials out there – Just look at Amour’s new additions to her nail polish collection!
And because that wasn’t enough…
So you will see us start to put some of our own tutorials together – it’s just too much fun!

inThis is our Pinteresting challenge #4 for the Pin It and Do It Challenge.
The pin that inspired us on Pinterest is Nailed It – Bleeding Blue. Check out Nailed It – they have some pretty awesome designs – Easily could get lost in there 🙂 Also their tutorials are very simple to read and look like heaps of fun!!!
And here is our finished version…
The three colours used were light peach, red and black. We love the design and it is relatively easy to do as you don’t really need a steady hand – the messier the better. To do the lines we used an old applicator from a liquid eye liner.
Next time we would change the colours. The black we used on the tips was just too heavy for our liking.
What colour combinations would you want to use? Next time we’re thinking yellow, aqua and chocolate brown.

For Pinteresting challenge #2 – baby singlet restyle – we were inspired by this pin and here’s our end result – it’s just too cute!
For Pinteresting challenge # 3 – tie to headband restyle – we were inspired by this pin and here’s how it turned out – we love it!!
This week…
Its a pair of very plain black wedges…such a lovely blank canvas – so many possibilities!
What do you think we should restyle it into? Where do we start? Inspire us…

inIf you haven’t already been on Pinterest yet – be warned – its sooooooo addictive! We have spent many hours scrolling through and finding things we love. This regular feature will be us attempting a variety of projects that have captured our Pinterest! Hehehe!
These projects won’t necessarily always be restyles but we will try 🙂 Check us out and follow us on pinterest – lovenotesstudio
So the first project we will attempt a combination of two pins that we found. It is to make a little girl’s tutu skirt. We found a pin for a tutu dress and a pin for making a tutu skirt. We liked the skirt design and preferred the crochet headband waist – hence the combination of the pins.
And here’s the end result…what do you think?

inHappy Monday everyone!
This will be a weekly feature where we will be calling out for our lovely readers to inspire us! We will post some pictures of an item that needs some restyling – then you can inspire us by posting comments about what you think we should do with it 🙂
We will then work with the inspirations you have provided and post what has happened – Grand Success or Epic Fail 😉
So with our first post in this feature – here is our item. It’s a pair of pajama ‘satin’ bottoms we got at the Fairfield Markets Swap Meet. We just love the pattern and the playful colours!
So tell us…What do you think we should do with this discarded item? Inspire us with your ideas of how we can restyle this into something new.
Take care, until next time…keep restyling!
